The making of Rememberings was a sort of agnostic process. I tipped away on it in an intermittent way - without any huge commitment or deadline.

 Rememberings lingered at the corner of the studio and my mind, a meditative space where I could put down memories and sensations. Mostly Mayo with my Dad. Mick had such a magically smooth exit - it was like a gift to us really -  a softening of the sucker-punch that is the end of your life with parents. I don't dream of him much sadly, but sometimes between asleep and awake, I feel we are flying above the Mayo lakes together. Rememberings is a distillation of that waking peaceful dream.
