The recent phenomena of Aurora  Borealis over Ireland has been a brilliant balm. to us all. The incredible light in the sky makes the magic of nature more real. No where more so than high up on Bolus Head. Above Ballinskelligs, the Kingdom is now officially a 'Dark Sky reserve'.  I've been fortunate to spend time on Bolus at the Cill Rialaig Artists retreat where residents get a birds eye view of nature - even on rainy, cloudy days.
