Blue Pool Meadow – Near Adrigole, West Cork

When I first moved to Cork, I had just learned to drive and so went out to West Cork at every opportunity. Driving really helped me to 'see' where I was going! This painting began in the hills above Adrigole – the intensity of the green and blues there could take your breath away

    At Boolakiel Strand

My cottage at the Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat looked out across the water to the historical Skelligs – somedays the view was entirely clear and the Skelligs loomed large in the landscape - on other days you couldn't see beyond the water.
